This conversion is a bolt on unit molded directly
off the original Econoline MC.
It uses the stock 61-67 pedal and pushrod. If you
have a 67 van or truck you will need to
have a 61-66 brake pedal and pushrod.
This is available in drum/drum, or disc/drum depending on your application.
There is also a necessity to put a notch in the original MC bracket(shown in
picture) but will
not interfere with any structural integrity
whatsoever.
Price - $380 complete with MC and all lines
including a new stop light switch.
If you are running 4 wheel drum or 4 wheel
disc you will need to purchase the appropriate
inline residual valves,I
recommend Wilwood. If you are running disc/drum the residual valves
are already
installed in the MC. You will also have to purchase your own remote reservoir
and hoses. I would like to supply these with the kit but there are just to many
options for remote reservoirs.
An option to this is you may purchase the bracket
alone for $180 and supply your own MC.
I will provide the numbers and
application info.
All in all this is the best upgrade to the
Econoline yet.
Late model parts, off the shelf and years of reliability, besides
the safety factor of having
a dual reservoir without having to spend big bucks
on a 67 MC even if you can find one.
